One thing I noted in one of the videos was that SkyMaxx Pro 4.7 can change the draw distance for the weather, but that seems to have a big hit on the frames. That looked ok but that's spending quite a bit for weather. Now when i notice the flicker/strobe effect i pretend its lightning. The latest I've seen the individual was running SkyMaxx Pro 4.7 for the clouds along with Active Sky XP for the weather generation. Sadly the problem is not completely alleviated but it is much better than before. Active sky basically looks like the default weather but has enhanced clouds so the clouds look a bit better.
